Hi. I’m Laroux Peoples.

I’m a lawyer in Toronto and a mom to a busy toddler. My law practice is devoted to wills and powers of attorney.

Learn about my practice

Here's a bit about my practice.

As a new mom, I know the importance of planning for the future. I have a special interest in providing individuals and families with the peace of mind that comes with a comprehensive will. I will tailor your will to specifically meet your individual needs. I will make sure that we discuss the important issues that cause you concern, and work with you to craft a legally sound solution.

Will Drafting

You will want to ensure that your will names guardians for your children in the event of your death and that your property will be distributed the way you want. A will is required to make that happen. Without a will, important decisions about your assets and children may be made without your input.

Powers of Attorney

A power of attorney for property is a document naming a trusted individual to deal with your affairs if you do not have the capacity to do so, or in other circumstances. A power of attorney for personal care is a separate document that authorizes someone to make healthcare decisions in the event you are unable to do so.

About Me

I am licensed to practice in Ontario, and am a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, as well as the Ontario Bar Association’s Estates and Trusts section. Before starting my own practice, I was an Assistant Crown Attorney for the Ministry of the Attorney General.
